Sensei Wade Hoover-Chief Instructor/Owner
Sensei Wade Hoover is a two time combat veteran, former Security Forces member and former instructor for the Augusta United Martial Arts Academies. Sensei has been studying the arts for over 20 years and is now the Chief Instructor of UMAA Lewiston.
Sensei Hoover's Background: Training in four different Ju Jitsu arts, as well as Kosho Ryu Kempo, Karate, Escrima/Arnis, plus ranking in Valetudo, to include Boxing, Kickboxing, Mua Tai, Grappling (Brazilian and Catch Wrestling), as well as Capoeira. His training includes various Chinese, Japanese and Filipino weapons.

Sensei Chris Farago
Sensei Chris Farago is a black belt instructor for the United Martial Arts Academies Lewiston/Auburn School, and has been studying the arts for over 6 years. Sensei Farago holds a first degree black belt in the arts of Kosho Ryu Kempo and Jui Jitsu as well as a Noche (first level black sash) in the Filipino art of Sala De Armas.
Sensei Farago teaches the Wednesday Karate Kids program for ages 5 to 7 and has been teaching that program for over 2 years. He also teaches in the stick and knife program.
He is a phenomenal instructor and father; he has brought to the school energy and character, inspiring effort and respect. Sensei Farago has many skills to include: Kosho concepts, Jui Jitsu standing and ground, wrestling and weapons knowledge in Japanese, Korean and Filipino arts.

Sensei Heather Spaulding
Sensei Heather Spaulding holds a Black Belt in Kosho Ryu Kempo and Jui Jitsu and is an instructor for Koshowarrior’s United Martial Arts Academies, Lewiston/Auburn Dojo and has been studying Martial Arts for over 7 years. Sensei Spaulding is currently working toward her Noche in the Filipino art of Sala De Armas.
Sensei Heather teaches the Little Ninja’s program on Thursday afternoons for ages 3 to 4 and has been teaching that program for over a year. She also assists in many of the other classes offered at the Lewiston Dojo, such as the Karate Kids, Little Tigers, and Junior Adult classes.
She is an excellent instructor and has a gift for working with kids. Her passion for Martial Arts and teaching kids shines with a unique personality, and positive attitude inspiring the students she teaches. Sensei Spaulding has experience with multiple weapons to include the Korean Bo Staff, Okinawa Sai, Filipino Stick and Knife, Japanese Sword, Korean Nunchuku, Okinawa Tonfa, and Korean Kama.
